Despite leading by 5 points with just minutes remaining, the Sixers found themselves pushed to the brink as the Knicks rallied to tie the game and force overtime.
In overtime, the Sixers regained control and held on to secure the win. They were led by Joel Embiid, who finished with 33 points and 20 rebounds, while James Harden added 20 points and 12 assists. For the Knicks, RJ Barrett led the scoring with 26 points, followed by Jalen Brunson with 25.
The victory for the Sixers keeps their season alive, but they still face an uphill battle against the Knicks, who now have a 2-0 lead in the series. Game 3 is set for Thursday night in New York.
